Spiritual Formation

This interactive workshop provides practical tools for taking the next steps in your personal discipleship journey.  It includes an overview of holistic discipleship and includes a self-assessment for short and long-term goal setting.


Understanding God

This interactive workshop provides an overview of how to better understand 1) who God is, 2) what God is, and 3) where God is.  We will explore the primary theology that shapes how believers understand God’s being and God’s role in the world, and we will discuss the practical implications of this theology for the church.


Hearing From God & Prophetic Ministry

This interactive workshop provides a biblical and theological foundation for hearing from God and ministry that is empowered by the Holy Spirit.  Topics covered include 1) hearing from God, 2) the role of prophetic words, 3) spiritual gifts, and 4) spiritual discernment.


Understanding the Bible

This workshop provides an overview of the history of the bible and principles for how we should interpret it.  Topics covered include 1) transmission history, 2) translation comparisons, and 3) important principles for how to interpret scripture.


Neighborhood Engagement

This interactive workshop provides a biblical and theological foundation for loving and engaging our neighbors and neighborhood.  This workshop utilizes the eight principles of Christian Community Development and equips us to apply those principles to our everyday lives.


Kingdom Ministry

What does it mean to live as citizens of this new kingdom and how might our lives reflect Jesus’ ministry?  The first half of this workshop provides a framework for understanding the kingdom of God and the latter half focuses on how Jesus’ life offers a model for fostering physical healing and systemic repair.


Multiethnicity as a Lifestyle

The first half of this workshop focuses on congregational “best practices” that promote healthy multiethnic churches.  The latter half of this workshop then examines everyday practices and tools that can equip us for multiethnic lives throughout the week.
