COMMUNITY ORGANIZING
In the East End of Richmond RISC - is a justice ministry organization made up of 25 congregations form throughout Richmond, Henrico, and Chesterfield to strengthen the community. They mobilize congregations to address issues such as gun violence and the lack of affordable housing.
AFFORDABLE HOUSING
The primary focus of Urban Hope is to partner with individuals and families who seek affordable rental housing and/or home ownership. Urban Hope offers support to individuals through classes, cohorts, and funding to empower local renters and future homeowners to take the next steps towards their goals. EDUCATION AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
We partner with Rise Richmond, a non-profit that features a private high school, after-school programs, and workforce development programs. To get connected to one of Rise's programs or for opportunities to volunteer you can visit their website here.
Community Arts
We partner with Robinson Theater Community Arts Center each week to host our large gathering worship services. Also, the Robinson hosts dance classes, fitness classes, movie nights, block parties, and fun activities for the entire family.
Public Policy
The Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy engages people of faith and goodwill in advocating racial, social, and economic justice in Virginia’s policies and practices through education, prayer and action.
